She is a security\, mobile\, wireless\, networking\, and Internet of Things (IoT) strategist. She has been driving business and technology innovation\, from incubation to prototyping to validation\, and is currently an entrepreneur and consultant in Silicon Valley. She has worked for service providers and technology companies in various key leadership roles. She defined the reference framework for the Future Internet Assembly and was one of the early critical contributors to the Internet of Things. She is also an expert member of governmental working groups and cross-continental forums. She was also one of the key contributors to the commercialization of WLAN. She has published two books\, and she has a broad range of publications in internationally acclaimed journals and conference publications. \nDr. Neeli Prasad will talk about her career journey\, including how she started entrepreneurship and what kind of challenges or opportunities came in her way as a woman in the tech industry.
