DESCRIPTION:Come and join the Canadian and Turkish Women’s Association Ottawa (CATWAO) for our upcoming event on April 7th\, 2024\, at the University of Ottawa. This year\, we’re focusing on “Empowering Women in STEM\,” highlighting the amazing achievements and challenges faced by women in Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Mathematics. \nYou’ll hear from a panel of four incredible women in STEM: \n\nIP Attorney Ariadni Athanassiadis\nElectrical Engineering Ph.D. candidate Eslin Ustun Karatop\nM.Sc.\, Natural Resources Canada Research Technologist Lara Tansug\nResearch Director Sarah Dumoulin at the Communications Research Centre Canada. \n\nOur panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Handan Tezel and Dr. Patricia Woods\, diving into their experiences\, the importance of diversity\, and how we can encourage more women to pursue careers in these fields. \nDate: April 7th\, 2024\nTime: 2:00-4:00 PM\nLocation: University of Ottawa STEM Building Room 117\, 150 Louis-Pasteur Private\, Ottawa \nRefreshments will be provided\, and there will be a Q&A session for you to engage with our panelists and other attendees.
