DESCRIPTION:In celebration of National Engineering Month\, we\, uOttawa ACM-W\, honored the achievement of women in STEM fields. The event provided a great opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to connect and network. \nOur esteemed Faculty Sponsor and keynote speaker\, Melike Erol-Kantarci\, shared her career journey\, providing valuable insights. Namrata Bagaria\, the founder of an age-tech company\, delivered an inspiring talk and participated in the panel session. \nWhile Dr.Sawsan Abdul-Majid\, P.Eng\, SMIEEE was unable to attend; however\, her company\, ANCWT\, was well represented\, showcasing the work in her absence. The panel session with PhD students facilitated interactive discussion\, emphasizing the importance of diversity and collaboration in advancing STEM fields. \n  \n                          \n               \n  \n               \n  \n
